You are invited to take part in STEM Racing Luxembourg's first National Final event on the 23rd May 2026 (Previous editions were held as F1 in Schools).
This event is open to all students aged 11-17 in Luxembourg, as long as you are in a team of 3-6 people and have prepared portfolios and cars to enter. Anyone else is invited to come and see what it is all about.
This event follows the STEM Racing international format and is designed for two purposes:
For those just starting out, to come and test what you have done and learned this year;
For teams to qualify for the World Finals.
These two groups will be competing in the same arena and the same time but can select one of three levels to compete at:
Tier 3: Beginners (T3), is for those in their first year. Entry requires two 3D printed cars and a small amount of other preparation
Tier 2: Intermediate (T2), is for those who wish to start following the world finals rules but a a reduced level.
Tier 1: Advanced (T1), is for those ready to prove they are ready for the world finals and hoping to qualify.
See the Resources section for the competition guidebooks with the rules.
Tier 1 Teams wishing to qualify for the World Finals should also read this document describing how the team representing Luxembourg will be selected
